Where we are...
We are not named “Nelson Central School” without good reason. We are the nearest primary school to the heart of Nelson City, giving us unique opportunities to access some great places to enhance our learning.
We are within easy walking distance to the Suter Gallery, Nelson Provincial Museum, the Maitai River, Nelson Public Library, the Centre of NZ hill and many other local landmarks.
A short drive or bus ride away are other local features such as the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary, some of our many local parks and playing grounds, Tahunanui Beach, Port Nelson and Saxton's Field.
OUR SCHOOL IS LOCATED AT 70 NILE STREET, NELSON, WITH OUR OFFICE EASILY ACCESSIBLE FROM OUR GATES ON ALTON STREET.
